Removal of Furniture Polish From A Timber Floor?
My housekeeper polished my entire wooden floor with wood furniture polish. It is ridiculously slippery now.
I read on ehow that 1 cup of white vinegar in a gallon of water mopped over the floor will get rid of the polish.
Will it work? Has anyone done this successfully before?

Washing your floor with warm soapy water in a bucket will also do the trick.
Do not scrub just wipe the floor over to remove the ‘slip’ – it will settle down in time
It will, but it will also affect the original finishing of your wood floor. Another solution is to wipe it with a dry rough cloth.
Don’t overdo it, and the effect should be reasonable, without using chemicals.
